Welcome to the Passion4Health Scholars Program 2026 Application

We're excited to invite healthcare students in Rwanda to apply for the Passion4Health Scholars Program 2026 — a blended summer training program designed to equip you with essential 21st-century skills for modern, equitable, and innovative healthcare.


About the Program


The Passion4Health Scholars Program combines virtual sessions, in-person sessions in Kigali, mentorship, professional development activities, and capstone project preparation. The program runs from early July to late August 2026.
What You'll Learn
Scholars will explore four core focus areas:


Global Health Leadership & Equity — Understanding healthcare challenges and promoting equitable solutions for underserved communities.


Digital Literacy & Healthcare Innovation — Learning how digital tools and technology can strengthen healthcare delivery.


Research & Evidence-Based Healthcare — Using data, evidence, and research to understand and address healthcare challenges.


Communication & Professional Development — Strengthening teamwork, leadership, public speaking, professional writing, and ethical collaboration.
Eligibility


  • To apply, you must:
    Be a Rwandan citizen or hold recognized refugee status in Rwanda.
  • Be currently enrolled in a Rwandan university as a Year 1 or Year 2 student in medicine, nursing, or midwifery — or have graduated from an associate nursing program in high school.
  • Have an active email address and phone number.

Application Deadline
June 15, 2026, at 11:59 p.m.


Important Notes
The program does not guarantee employment, scholarships, or financial sponsorship. However, scholars receive mentorship, leadership development, networking opportunities, and support for practical capstone projects. Selected winning capstone projects may receive funding and implementation support.
Your application must reflect your own genuine experiences and aspirations. Use of AI tools such as ChatGPT may result in disqualification.
